Fitted with a diagonal coil condenser offering high condensation efficiency, the RE300 is ideal for evaporations of all the standard laboratory solvents. For
convenient handling of larger samples the RE300 is fitted with a continuous feed adapter. The Rotaflo® PTFE stopcock and PTFE feed tube offer a chemically
inert and grease free liquid pathway, avoiding contamination by stopcock grease. Vacuum seal of Viton® rubber for high solvent resistance is further
protected from chemical attack by PTFE inserts ensuring long service life.
The sparkless induction motor operates very quietly and provides constant speed under variable load. Continuously adjustable speed from 20 to 190rpm. The
lift mechanism is counterbalanced to provide very lightweight operation. Simply squeezing the control levers allows the glassware to be moved up or down
easily, even using only one hand.
Plastic coated version available ( code RE300P) . Condenser, receiver flask and flourentine flask have a temperature and chemically resistant polymer coating
which will counterbalance the effect of implosion which can sometimes happen if damaged glassware is accidentally put under vacuum. The plastic coating
acts as a safety screen, containing the glassware pieces thus protecting the operator.
